Witcombe is home to the remains of a 3rd century roman villa located less than a couple of miles from the village hall.  Best walked, you will be passing through some lovely countryside with stunning views.  Once there you can walk around and try to imagine what once stood in it's place.

The Witcombe Reservoirs are are great place to visit if you are into bird watching, running, or just just want a quiet country walk with amazing views.
